1
Freshman First Day
Every year, before the school year begins, our high school has a freshman orientation day for incoming freshmen. On this day, our FCCLA officers and our advisors come and display a tri-fold with information about FCCLA and our chapter in the gym. We bring membership forms to this event so those who are interested can take one!

Bring a Buddy
At the second chapter meeting held in the cafeteria, we encourage new and returning members to "bring a buddy" to come and learn about FCCLA and hopefully get a membership form to join our chapter!

Meet the Officers Breakfast
We hold a "Meet the Officers Breakfast" in the FACS room where our advisors and chapter officers cook a delicious assortment of breakfast foods for our chapter. At the event, you're able to chat with chapter members and advisors to learn more about our group. We invite anyone interested in joining FCCLA!

Open House Night
The week before school starts, students and families are able to come meet their teachers, get their schedules, and/or make any schedule changes. This event is just another opportunity for any returning or new students to approach one of our advisors and ask about FCCLA!

In the Headlines!
How Our Members Are Recognized
Our KNHS principals notice the success of FCCLA! When our chapter succeeds, they highlight our accomplishments on the bragboard digital display in the lobby and give us a shoutout in the daily announcements and email. Our advisors make team bonding a priority, whether that's taking trips to the city as a chapter to go shopping and ice skating in the winter, or just getting together at school! This year, our high school and middle school chapters will be going snow tubing in February. Our chapter advisors and the school district share our awards from STAR Events on various social media platforms. This allows our school families and community to be aware and celebrate these accomplishments with us.
